Through The Eyes Of Me
I had a chance to share the story behind my work in person, but that same night my son had a band concert.
So I made this film instead.
It became a way to be present for my family and still share where the work comes from.
Why I made it
I found another way to tell the story.
This film is about where my art comes from — my grandad, my kids, and the kind of loss that does not really leave you.
It is also about being a father, and trying to show my boys not to run from fear while I face my own.
The work
The film and the work come from the same place.
