I don’t always know what to say when my boys ask me questions about life and the things they are going through. All I can do as a dad is base my answers on the things I’ve been through and the lessons I’ve learned.
Sometimes I may not always say the right thing or say it perfectly, but at least my boys will know that I will always be there to support and guide them in the best way I know how. They will always be able to come and talk to me, no matter what it is they want to say.
I will be there, and I will not run away. So to my boys: I love you, and always know I’ll be there when you need me.
