Date Day Adventures

Today my wife and I got some time to ourselves. We were able to have a beautiful date day. The weather was perfect—the sun was shining, and the sky was clear.

The funny thing about getting time for a date is that you end up spending most of it trying to figure out what to do while driving around in circles. It's like trying to find a movie on Netflix—you spend so much time scrolling through all the options that, by the time you finally pick one, you're too tired to watch it and end up falling asleep. LOL

We spent about 30 minutes driving back and forth trying to decide where to eat, but I guess that's the reality of spontaneous date days when the grandparents offer to take the kids.

We eventually ended up at a Mexican restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. Then we wrapped up the evening with one of our favorite traditions—our date night photo shoot. We've been doing this for a long time, and I never get tired of seeing my wife looking absolutely stunning and full of confidence as we take our photos together.

I am so grateful to have such a smart, kind, beautiful, and loving wife and an incredible mother to our children by my side. You are, and always will be, my kryptonite.
