My boys and I have been working on an animated series called Monty & Pesto for a while now, but we've recently started jumping back into it. We're currently working on re-rigging one of the characters named Pesto. He's based on my youngest son, and Monty is based on my oldest.
We are having a blast coming up with new stories for these two and continuing to shape their world and personalities. As a dad, I just love seeing the joy in their eyes as they draw and come up with new ideas for these characters.
I also try to teach them that things aren't going to happen on their own. We can't just sit around and think about our ideas—we have to take action. Even if we're only making small advancements, we can keep stacking those little wins, and eventually we'll get it done.
